Throughout the month of August and September all donations made to Parasites Without Borders will be matched and DOUBLED by PWB and donated to Floating Doctors’ Panama project.
Help us support Floating Doctors throughout August and September! We just wrapped up our summer fundraiser supporting the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC) by raising funds for Project Bududa, Uganda, and with your help, we met our goal of $40,000!!! Thank you to all who contributed. Over the next two months, we are raising funds for Floating Doctors, a global nonprofit that was founded in 2009 to provide healthcare to people living in resource-poor areas and to advance the delivery of healthcare worldwide. For every donation made to Parasites Without Borders in August and September, our organization will match and double the amount and donate it to Floating Doctors’ Panama project. The mission of Floating Doctors is to reduce the present and future burden of disease in the developing world and to promote improvements in healthcare delivery worldwide. Parasites Without Borders is pledging to donate up to $40,000 with a minimum donation of $10,000. Parasites Without Borders founder, Daniel Griffin, MD, Ph.D., has volunteered in Panama through Floating Doctors and is passionate about helping the organization and communities it serves.
