Throughout the month of July all donations made to Parasites Without Borders will be matched and DOUBLED by PWB and donated to FIMRC’s Project Bududa.
Parasites Without Borders is pledging to donate up to $40,000 with a minimum donation of $10,000 automatically given to the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children. FIMRC’s mission is to provide access to healthcare for low-resource and medically underserved families around the world. Project Bududa is located in one of the poorest districts within Uganda. Extreme poverty, a lack of infrastructure, and low education levels all contribute to a more complex health situation. FIMRC works to beat the statistics and focus on issues such as HIV, malaria, and maternal and child health. To learn more about Project Bududa, visit www.fimrc.org/uganda
